Scott Sobel is president and founder of Media & Communications Strategies. Scott has an extensive background in national and international crisis, litigation, government, corporate, association, aviation and news media communications. He is an award-winning former journalist at the major market and network levels with a shelf full of Emmys, Sigma Delta Chi, AP and regional journalism awards. Additionally, Scott's public relations teams have won international crisis agency of the year awards including the Public Relations Society of America National Capital Region Crisis Program of the Year; Hermes Crisis Agency of the Year Platinum award, IABC, Bulldog awards, PRNewswire awards and several Cable Beacon awards, among others. He is a prestigious Counselor's Academy member of the Public Relations Society of America; and member of the Legal Marketing Association, Law Firm Media Professionals Association, founding member of the Public Relations Boutiques International Association and an Investigative Reporters and Editors Association member.
